I could not rate Dr Sargur more highly. He listens and understands. He allowed me time to express my concerns and he addressed all of them. He's clearly an expert in his field but explains everything brilliantly and his manner is so caring and reassuring.
I have had urticaria 6 months, with the associated itching and sleep disturbance. Now that I have seen Dr Sargur I have a clear stepped treatment plan. Genuinely light at the end of the tunnel.
Dr Sargur is not only a renowned expert, he's a kind, emotionally intelligent doctor.

Dr Sargur is without doubt the best Consultant that I have ever seen . He listens, explains things in a clear and logical way and his response times to emails, phone calls and tests results are incredible. I have been passed from pillar to post of the the last 18 months and really feel that Dr Sargur wanted to help with my condition. Dr Sagur was very understanding and really took the time to listen to me. He even looked at every single letter in my hospital folder I brought with me and read through them all (well over 50 letters, reports etc!).
I finally feel like I’m getting somewhere with a clear plan thanks to Dr Sagur - after six years of being chronically ill with not much luck or answers!

Dr Ravishankar Sargur is a Consultant Immunologist at the Northern General Hospital.
He set up the Aspirin nasal challenge and desensitisation service in Northern General hospital.
His interests include specialist allergy testing, investigating hidden allergens and problems with the immune system (antibody deficiency, autoimmunity etc.
He has keen interest in training and was previously Training Program Director for Immunology in Yorkshire, Humber and East Midlands.
He was chair of the Speciality Advisory Committee (Immunology) at Joint Royal College of Physicians Training Board.
Dr. Sargur has a major interest in allergy education and regularly gives lectures and tutorials to GPs, developed allergy & immunology modules for medical students.
